It’s 518 pieces of real-live, tangable Minecraft world building blocks ready for you to create the world of your dreams!  Already I can see the need to buy more sets… but lets concentrate on what is in the box:

5 big bags of LEGO pieces and and 2 instruction books…  The books are layed out beautifully with an intersting “winde-angle”/”close-up” building method.  One book shows a large scale world view that references a smaller build in book 2.  Yes its confusing at first… for a 9 year old… but he quickly bounced into Minecraft gear.  The books seem to be for idea directional purposes only and not a hard-lined how to.  I love this aspect because it gets you building quick, unleashes your imagination (as a LEGO set would), but also gives some solid building techniques!
