LEGO Elves… Magic or Myth?

Elves is a new Theme with all new sets from LEGO are available March 1 (some retail locations are already plaing stock on shelves).

Elves comes with the cute little animals and minidoll figures enjoyed in the Friends theme.  While pastel colors are use throughout the line, unlike Friends there is heavy use of Greys and Browns all lined with Gold accents.  Very Elfin!

I love the “create your own story” aspect of the Elves line: “The rich LEGO Elves fantasy world also means childen can easily create their own epic quest with the elvish companions. Discover secret functions in the sets, and watch the magic turn into reality.” [quote source: LEGO.com]

Marvel LEGO fans: ASSEMBLE!  And dont forget your LEGO VIP Card.  The set contains 2996 pieces, 5 minifigures, and 15 microfigures that display on the helicarrier deck.  Microfigures are normally seen in LEGO games but here they add action packed depth to this enormous build.  The Quinjet microbuilds (2) are amazing in their own right… I hope to see them in a Marvel Advent Calendar!!
